What is that CHMB burning aside from the gen 1 sale CG?
We want to have a few burning events prior to game launch, which will benefit all token holders and the community. We can really get creative with this. We have a few ideas already. They can be in the form of competitions, or NFTs/tickets for early access to land. So we will decide the best mechanics for a burning event and announce when it's all ready. Our devs are working around the clock for us (Thank you Nonce!) already working on the marketplace, breeding event and gen1 sale burning events, nft drops and more. They're the best.
Chumbi Trails NFTs (that will be airdrop to Seed holders on the 5th April). Your Chumbi will be the envy of the forest with a dazzling trail. The Chumbi trail can be equipped to any Chumbi and will add a special glowing effect trailing behind them as they walk.
We are busy working through the Chumbi turnarounds for all Seed Chumbi coats and body parts. Take a look at the River Chumbi coats.
The farmer's tool kit! A shovel, watering can and gloves will help you start your farm in Chumbi Valley
Introducing Cave berries. They have a Savory flavor profile (similar flavor to truffle).
Let me give you a basic run-down of how farming will work! 1. FIND SEEDS. Seeds are obtained by clearing grass in the world (You will need ‘Gloves’ to clear the grass) 2. TILL GROUND. Find an area to start your farm and till the ground (You will need a ‘Shovel’ to till the ground) 3. PLANT SEEDS. Plant your seeds and watch them grow! (You will need a ‘Watering Can’ to water your crops) 4. HARVEST. Each plant has 4 stages to growth, in the final stage, you can finally harvest the fruit! (You will need ‘Gloves’ to harvest the fruit)
How will farming work ?
The 8 berries we have revealed will be an ingredient used in Chumbi Spells mechanic. Specific Chumbi Spells will make watering your crops more efficient. There will also be other crops you can grow and use for crafting/cooking recipes. Rare seeds can be found when adventuring through the Ancient Portal!

Which parts of the player will be customizable ?
Part of the fun in many RPGs, is the ability to customise your player to your own preference, and Chumbi Valley will be no exception. We aim to integrate player customization in the following ways: Avatar (choose from 2), Skin Color, Eye Color, Hair Color, Hair Style, Cloak Color, Cloak Trim Color
Introducing Flame berries. They have a Spicy flavor profile (similar flavor to chilli).
Introducing Insect berries. They have a Fruity flavor profile (similar flavor to lychee).
Introducing Spark berries. They have a Sour/Citrus flavor profile (similar flavor to lemon). I hope you’re starting to think of some recipes using these berries. We will need your help with something very soon.
Introducing Forest berries. They have an earthy flavor profile (similar flavor to basil)
Introducing River berries. They have a Juicy/Sweet flavor profile (similar flavor to watermelon).
Introducing the first of many Chumberries! These are the Neutral berries. They have a Sweet flavour profile (similar to blueberries) but are white in colour. Chumberries will have an integral role in the Chumbi Spells mechanic.

Will you really make an animated serie ?
It's on the cards, hopefully we can get a team to begin working on an animated series while we focus on the game.

Potentially might allow some people to access sooner but we will wait to see.
I heard about a golden NFT which would be different from the golden nameTag NFT, what is it?
Ahh the news of the Golden NFT is getting out there. it's a surprise golden NFT. More info coming soon.
What is the current marketcap of Chumbi?
We are undergoing some positive CHMB vesting changes that will affect the circulating supply which is why there is a delay in getting this info out. We will make an announcement once all is finalised.

Will it be possible to customise our character (eyes, mouth, etc.)?
Eye colour, hair style, hair colour and skin colour will be customisable initially. We will add more as we go along.
Will we be able to see the nimble boots or the cloak will be too long for seeing them?
They will be visible a little bit!!
Will the boots, dropped for seed holders, allow faster exploration?
Yes the boots will be a great utility item for exploring! Huge time saver.

What are the advantage for golden nameTag for seedHolders against the regular one we could get in the game?
Possibly will have more than one use.
Will the golden nameTag for SeedHolders be special?
Because these tags will be part of the founders collection, they will be better than the regular nametags that you can craft in game.
What are the difference between Forest Home and Land?
Forest Home-World: you spawn here and start your farm, explore, gather resources, chop trees etc. Singleplayer. Land (Chumbi Village): Only for those with land plots. Multiplayer.
Can we maybe get a dimension size by grid for 1 map?
The map will be a decent size, enough to feel like you can explore and find new areas. It will expand over time with updates.

It is possible that Chumbi web marketplace will come earlier than breeding event or land sale?
Not before breeding, but it will be before land.
One for all the Seed Holders out there! This is a first look at the Name Tag NFT! Dropping on the 15th March.
What spells will be available at game launch?
The leeks of the day. We aim to launch the game with 3 main Chumbi spells with more to be added later.
The Making Of: Insect Coat 'Royal Arthropod'. All Chumbi parts are created as vector art in Adobe Illustrator (on separate layers). The layers are then output as png and our developers have written a complex script to compile the png layers to create the final Chumbi.
The Magic Chumbi Tree Progress Sketches Myself and OasisCommander worked on the design for the Magic Chumbi Tree. Initially, we designed it with a swirl in the tree leaves, but I eventually decided to simplify and remove it. We also added more vines and growth to the tree to give it a magical and overgrown look.
Will the shiny chumbi and mini chumbi have special chumbi trails?
Yes most likely. They may have their own trail automatically assigned to them. But equipping a trail would override it.

Will there be lots of meditative background music in chumbi valley depending on region / area you are in?
Yes! So the first track we had on the first website was the music genre we want to use for the game. It's really calming Zelda style music with grand piano melancholy notes.
Will the chumbi trails and the nimble shoes be craftable?
The Pod Remnants and Chumbi Trails are exclusive (cannot be crafted). The Name Tags and Nimble Boots - will possibly be craftable (but very hard to obtain). Still in discussion.
What programming languages does the game coded in?
C# mostly for game dev, lots of Solidity for the smart contracts, and of course and healthy dose of JS everywhere else... amongst others.
Will it be possible to get tagName in the game?
Its possible, you can find name tags in game or be able to craft them (expensive).
Will the nametags expire or can we hold them and rename already renamed Chumbi we buy from OS?
You can rename a Chumbi as many times as you like as long as you have name tag NFTs. They will not expire. Yes you can rename an already named Chumbi that you buy from OpenSea.
How Chumbi handle the fact they have no hands?
What Chumbi lack in hands they make up for in feet.
Will the Chumbi Starter be free with 3 choices ?
That's right the starter Chumbi will be free, you can choose one of 3 to start your journey.
Actuallly high tier are not that rare in gen0 population, will you make higher tiers more valuable by reducing the supply of them in gen1?
Okay thanks, yes the Void, Spirit and Creature % (and mini and shiny %) are higher in the Seeds so that the early adopters get the higher tiers as they should for supporting us in the early days of the project. We know that in-game breeding mechanics will naturally dilute the supply, making minis, shinys and Voids more scarce. The breeding event is seeding generation 1, so we just need to control it a bit to make sure Chumbi Valley starts off on the right foot.
How will work exploration ?
We are sooo excited by this!! There's something truly special about exploring new terrains. Especially not knowing where the portal will take you.
About the Naked/Coatless Chumbi, do we know if it'll be available in the future or if it is exclusive to gen 0 (chumbi seed)?
We will make the coatless Chumbi exclusive to the Seed Chumbi!! (All Gen 1 will have coats). We may only introduce coatless Chumbi for events in the future (Like raids etc).
Will horns be available for gen1 Chumbi?
Gen 1 Chumbi will have horns too, but not the same designs. We might also make horns harder to get in Gen 1.
Will Village be a multiplayer feature?
Village will be multiplayer! But that will come after the single player world.
Are coatless Chumbi useful in the game?
Don't be so quick to discard your coatless Chumbi....... These Chumbi might have special properties in the future..... cosmetics 'naked' chumbi also might have some interesting battle strategies not knowing what an opponents secondary move is....
Does horns have any special value in the game?
Horns too may have special properties added to them in time. This is the exciting part of NFT gaming.️
